Ron brings over 25 years of experience of research system development and a wide range of skills encompassing computing, software development, media and market research. Before setting up Information Tools Ltd he was group Managing Director of the AGB group of companies in New Zealand.

Ron is widely recognised for the technological innovations and contributions he has made to the advertising, media and market research industry, both in New Zealand and overseas. He is recognised as an expert in this field.

Ron oversees software design, product development, strategic development, all media related activities as well as some key client management.

Anthony brings over 25 years of marketing experience to Information Tools Ltd. After completing a Bsc[Hons] in Social Sciences he spent two years in advertising sales, followed by 7 years marketing experience in London. Moving to Auckland he was appointed marketing manager at AGB McNair and responsible for the development of the company's syndicated services. He pioneered the successful launch of several industry monitors and also took over the marketing responsibilities for the company's media research division.

Anthony oversees most aspects of ITL's sales, marketing and PR functions. He also oversees its subsidiary companies. He is closely involved in the strategic development of the company.

GEOFF LOWE
Client Service Director - Auckland, NZ






Geoff has a MA (Hons) degree in Geography from Auckland and has been a market researcher since graduating in 1985. Four years with AGB McNair in Auckland was followed by four years as the Survey Research Manager at IMS (N.Z.) Limited. Geoff is immediate past President of the Market Research Society of New Zealand and was President of the Auckland branch of the MRS for two years prior to that.

Geoff brings an extensive knowledge of market research to Information Tools and so broadens the consultative nature of the service ITL is able to offer.

TERRY McCARTHY
Client Service Director - Wellington, NZ







Terry has been part of the New Zealand market research industry for over 7 years. He has a BA in English Literature and an MA (Applied) in Recreation Administration from Victoria University. He was a Research Director with Heylen Research in Wellington and has also worked as an independent consultant. Terry has worked in the Ministry of Education doing
research and curriculum development, as well as a period with the Commission for the Future.

Terry brings a broad understanding of market research to the company's clients. His focus is on servicing the needs of ITL clients in Wellington.

JANINE TAKLE
Training & Special Projects Director





Janine joined Information Tools in 1996 after completing her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Auckland University.

She has an extensive knowledge of our database creation processes and passes on this experience through training sessions and user support.

Supported by an experienced team of Visual Basic programmers, Janine utilises her solution development skills by directing the development of end user applications that automate the creation of databases from data whose structure remains consistent over time.

NEILL MILLENER
Software Development Manager






Neill has an MSc in Physics with first class honours from the University of Auckland. He has been involved in a wide range of software development positions in New Zealand and overseas with Open Technology Ltd, Fletcher Intelligent Buildings, Logica Ltd (UK) and ITT-IDEC. Most recently he was Team leader in AC Nielsen's systems department.

Neill's broad development background makes him ideally suited to the role of Software Architect at Information Tools where he manages our team of programmers and software projects .

JOHN DAVIS
Global Account Director - Auckland, NZ






John brings 20 years of experience in marketing and market research gained in research supplier, buyer and user positions. Graduating with a Bachelor of Management Studies (Marketing) from Waikato, John has worked in senior client service roles in Auckland for AGB McNair and NFO and in market research and brand marketing roles, both in New Zealand and Australia, for Rothmans, Goodman Fielder Baking Australia and Sky City.

John's role is to provide service, support and strategic input as Global
account Director.

JESSICA CHAPPLE
Account Director - Auckland, NZ





Jessica brings 14 years of market research and marketing branding experience to her role. She has held senior positions at Focus Research and Fast Forward Future Marketing Group, and worked across a range of categories in both New Zealand and the UK. She has a BA in Geography and Marketing.

Jessica's role is to manage the needs of Auckland and SE Asian clients, adding value to analysis by applying marketing and research experience.

SCOTT McKAY
Account Director - South East Asia










Scott joined Information Tools in 2002 with 16 years in marketing and
business development roles and is a previous client user of Information
Tools software and services. In addition to assisting with a wide
variety of analysis and investigation requirements Scott also advises
clients on data combining with non-research data types such as internal
client data.

Scott has a BBS Marketing from Massey University and has completed the Stanford Graduate School of Business Strategic Marketing Management Executive Education Program.

Scott is responsible for Information Tools' clients in South East Asia

GRANT BLACK
Software Designer




Grant has a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Otago. He has worked in various software development positions for over 10 years, including work as a software development manager for Geothermal Energy NZ and team leader for SmartMove NZ Ltd.

Grant's position at Information Tools is that of Software Designer, working in conjunction with our programmers and other development staff to ensure the best possible design of Information Tools software products and tools.

MIKE POLLARD
Software Quality Control





Mike has over 25 years experience working for major international companies including Orange and Thorn EMI in the UK. He has specialised for the past 10 years in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within the software environment, and brings with him extensive knowledge of international Quality Systems from both the Military and Civilian arena.

Mike is responsible for overseeing the Quality of product released from Information Tools, including the testing and continuing software development. He is also progressing the production, documentation and integration of Quality procedures and standards to further enhance the workings of the company as a whole.

WILLEM COETZEE
Manager Client Services





Willem joined Information Tools with 13 years market research experience across a range of industries and product categories including FMCG, electronic media and customer satisfaction studies. He has held senior positions at Kaufman Levin Associates and Markinor in South Africa. He has a BA in Geography and Anthropology.

He manages the needs for a range of clients from various industries in New Zealand and overseas, applying his research knowledge and experience.

ANDREA COLLIER
Director - Australia





Andrea has a Bachelor of Business Studies in Marketing and Japanese from Massey University. She has a broad base of market research experience having worked as a project Manager for CM Research in New Zealand where she managed Telecommunication and FMCG research projects. More recently Andrea worked in various training roles in both Japan and England.

Andrea is Director of Information Tools Pty Ltd and services existing Australian clients as well as developing new business.

HENRY CHEANG
Director - Australia





Henry has a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the University of
New South Wales and a MBA in Marketing Management from the University of
Technology, Sydney. Henry has held executive positions with AGB McNair and NEWSPOLL Market Research. He has also previously held positions in the
advertising and academic arena.

Henry oversees all aspects of the company's business in Australia.

CHUCK BENDE
President Information Tools - USA









Chuck has over 25 years of experience in market research, trade research and marketing systems. After attaining his BA, MS and Ph.D he spent his early years with the United Dairy Industry Association and then as a senior analyst with the Quaker Oats Company.

Chuck then joined Information Resources Information (IRI) initially as Manager of their Business Systems Solutions and then as Vice President, Client Services. Following 10 years at IRI Chuck then took up a position with SPSS as Manager of their solutions Group.

Chuck oversees all aspects of the Information Tools business in the United States.

KATE EDWARDS
Director - UK
Kate started her career at NOP Market Research in London, working initially in the DP department and then as a Research Executive. She took a career break to bring up her four children and then did a BA in Sociology and Politics followed by a MSc from the London School of Economics in Social Research Methods. From 1996 she ran the Data Mining Company which was the UK distributor of ESPRI. When the company was merged into ITL (UK), she took over as Managing Director.

NIGEL CARTMAN
Director - UK






Nigel came to Information Tools with considerable market research experience from both New Zealand and the UK. His background in both qualitative and quantitative research gives him a strong understanding of the role and application of data to marketing issues. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland where he studied Marketing and Economics.

Since joining Information Tools, Nigel has gained considerable experience in the use of data in a number of international markets. He has particular expertise in the coordination of international tracking projects and the interpretation of data for marketing strategy.

MD MONJUR IQBAL
Client Service Director - South Asia



Monjur has an MBA with a Major in Finance. He is a full Member of the Market Research Society - U.K. and a member of the Institute of Business Administration Alumni Association - Bangladesh.

He started his professional career in 1985 as a Banker with ANZ Grindlays Bank and then joined a local Computer Company as Marketing Executive. For the next four years he worked as a Computer Consultant for both Hardware & Software. Before joining Information Tools Monjur worked as a Social and Marketing Researcher as well as a computer Consultant.

DR NASIR UDDIN KHAN
Marketing Director - South Asia






Nasir has an M.Sc. (International Economic Relations) and a Ph.D (Econometrics) from the Institute of Economics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia. He has a Diploma in Statistical Analysis - Stockholm, Sweden and a Diploma in Marketing Management studied in Berlin, Germany. He is a full Member of the Market Research Society (UK Member), European Society for Opinion & Marketing Research (ESOMAR), American Marketing Association.

Nasir started his professional career in 1983 as a Pricing Researcher at a Bulgarian Trade & Industrial Corporation. Before joining Information Tools he worked as a social, socio-economic and marketing researcher, and software consultant.

JUAN GARAY
Director - Scandinavia




Juan Garay holds a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration from the University of Uppsala and a Marketing Diploma from IHM Business School in Stockholm, Sweden. He has broad experience of market research covering both quantitative and qualitative research methods.

Starting his career as an analyst within a governmental agency in 1988, he has been working as a market research consultant since 1991.
PATRICIO PAGANI

Before joining Information Tools, Patricio was the Latin American “Knowledge & Insights Coordinator” for one of our biggest clients, The Coca-Cola Company. Patricio worked closely with Coca Cola Atlanta on key projects & cascading best practices throughout the division. He championed the use of the Information Tools software to evolve the division’s strategic thinking by investigating the databases. He is therefore in the unique position of being both an expert in our programs and experienced on the “client side”.

Patricio has a MA (Hons) Degree in Business and Marketing and has been involved in academic research for more than 6 years. He is able to conduct business in three languages (English, Spanish and Portuguese).
AL GORDON
Vice President – Client Services USA













With 30 years in the Market Research industry, Alan brings ITL considerable expertise in Research, Marketing, and Software-based Data Analysis.

Alan began his career with AC Nielsen in Finance and, then, joined Client Service where he managed major accounts like SC Johnson, General Mills, and Kimberly-Clark. At Nielsen for 17 years, he was one of the early innovators of software-based analysis of syndicated tracking data. He eventually worked directly for Nielsen’s software subsidiary and had responsibility for software training and client satisfaction.

Leaving Nielsen in 1986, Alan joined Information Resources, and over the next 12 years served as VP - Product Manager, Client Service VP, and VP - Corporate Training Director.

Alan is responsible for Client Training and Relationship Management in the United States.
